2. What Is My Child Working On At School: Check It Out!

Your PowerSchool and Parent Observer Account let you follow your child's attendance, homework, completed work, grades and Principal Notes

To Set Up Your PowerSchool Account:
Stop by school and activate your account . Be sure to bring your ID when you stop by.

To Set Up Your Canvas Account:

1. Get the Pairing Code:

2. Set up your account Parent Canvas Observer Account: canvas.dpsnc.net/


3. Homework??? What Homework???:  to see the nightly homework go to your Canvas Parent Observer Account. 

NOTE: 
Homework is not often given BUT anything that is not finished in class automatically becomes homework.

4. Tutoring: need extra help with your school work? 

Teachers have regular office hours.  These can be found on your child's Canvas page.

5. Attendance:
if your child is absent call the school at 919-560-3535 send a note  or email your child's teachers or [email protected] our data manager and let us know why your child was absent

6. The Bus Did Not Come, or was Late/Came Early, Where Is My Stop: 

Call the department of transportation at 560-2877 or go to https://www.dpsnc.net/domain/126

7. Mental Health: We are partnering with The AYA Center and offer co-located services here at the school. Interested: Please call me at 560-3535 ext 14-234 or 919-886-6101 if you would like a referral.
